Image/Re-Branding Campaign - Sub-Committee
- Frequent meetings needed immediately to get momentum and keep it. Need creative and energetic members to work together to develop and implement strategies. Promote the positive using social media, websites, promotional materials, and other tools. Budget plan required - $5,000 grant funding available, but only with approved budget submission.
Community Leadership Institute Action Planning Team - Ritter Park Enhancement Project
- Soccer field (U8) installation at Ritter Park. This team is working to pull together the partnerships to make it happen. Spring 2010 is our scheduled implementation date. Want to donate a soccer ball? Have coaching experience? Have contacts with the Parks Department or Southern Indiana United? Or do you just love soccer? Get on this team and help. We need it.
Ritter Park Activity Coordination - Sub-Committee
- scheduling and promoting park activities: music acts, movie nights, etc. Lead Coordinator needed and lot's of helpers for this important sub-committee.
Neighborhood Festival - Sub-Committee
- Work with our existing partners (St. John Presbyterian, Ritter Birthplace Foundation) to make the August 2010 Festival the best ever! It's never to early to start planning. The team is already established but we need more creative and energetic residents to get involved!
Repair Affair Team/Physical Conditions- Sub-Committee
- One house completed in 2009. How many can we do in 2010? Help improve facades and landscaping of area homes. Residents (homeowners only) apply for assistance and we form the volunteer teams to tackle the jobs they need done. We improve the physical conditions of homes in our neighborhood and help neighbors at the same time! All skill levels needed.
